Permanent deformations of a rockfill dam

摘要

Large permanent deformations occurred on a rockfill dam over a period of 35 years are described, showing a satisfactory behaviour of the dam. Procedures established to fix tears and ruptures of the steel mantle and keep leakage under control have guaranteed up to the present time safe operation of the dam.
