The Estonian Land Board (ELB) is responsible, among other things, for precise geodetic measurements in Estonia. The main activities are focused on the multi-dimensional geodetic network - Integrated Georeference. For now the works have been finished within the National Geodetic Network, the reconstruction of levelling and gravity networks are ongoing. Introduction of ETRF89 to the local municipalities is continued. Maintenance of geodetic marks and database are the new fields of activities added to the ELB. The structure of the ELB was changed in the beginning of 2005, and with the change a new structural unit was introduced - the Department of Cartography and Photogrammetry.
