摘要

A study of impacts on summer-time dissolved oxygen levels of an industrial discharge loading BOD to an estuarine river was performed. Hydrodynamics were of particular interest because of the presence of strong, tidally reversing currents and a discharge release scheme dictating a high volume release for a short period of time during ebb tide. Water quality challenges included quantification of relative impacts of the discharger and extensive upriver marshes on ambient dissolved oxygen levels in the study area.
