Collaboration: Government Process Improvement and Methodologies in a Collaborative Environment

This paper addresses how one government organizationrnis making strides in its quest for CMM Level 2 throughrnthe collaborative strategies of its managers, workforce,rncontractors, and private industry and other governmentrnorganizations. The last two years' efforts have yieldedrnan environment that has helped ease the painful climbrnup the CMM ladder and produced some notable results.rnThe accounts given are both descriptive andrnprescriptive. Methodologies for proper coordination,rnstrategies for accomplishing buy-in and accountability,rnand measures to achieve integration of processes arernjust some of the discussion points of this paper.
