Cleansing and Dismantling of CEA-Saclay Nuclear Licensed Facilities; Project Perimeter

This summary presents the cleansing and dismantling operations currently realized at the Saclay center of the "Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique" (French atomic energy commission -CEA-Saclay).It was initiated at the beginning of the year 2000, a cleansing and dismantling program of the old Nuclear Licensed Facilities ((NLF; Nuclear Licensed Facilities, translation of the French appellation: Installation Nucleaire de Base - INB). This summary presents the dismantling work and the studies progress from January 2012 to March 2014. The STEL ((Station de Traitement des Effluents Liquides - Liquid Waste Treatment Plant)) cleansing and dismantling operations and the LHA ((Laboratoires de Haute Activite - Height Activity Laboratories) dismantling operations are the subject of separate presentations [4] and [5].
