摘要

A system for portable XRF/XRD has been designed, constructed and tested. It is based on a simple principle Debye Scherrer XRD in reflection that takes advantage of many improvements in the handling of X-rays (poly-capillary optics; 2-dimension detection). The XRD diagrams obtained with the portable XRF/XRD instrument are comparable in quality with diagrams obtained with conventional laboratory equipments. Elemental XRF analysis can be performed at the same point as XRD with the same quality as that obtained with commercial portable XRF instruments. More than 70 works of art have been studied that include paintings, ceramics, bronzes, manuscripts; etc.
