摘要

The computer simulation of heat transfer is a very important technique that is not only for automotive parts but alsornfor general industrial design. In this paper, we propose a thermal simulation method for vehicle junction block (JB)rnbased on Finite Element Method (FEM). The features of this presentation are: (1) To develop a thermal simulationrnmodeling method, which is simple and easy to move the components of the JB. Meanwhile, it enables to forecast thernthermal weak points in JB without experiment; (2) To give the detailed analysis for relay inside heat transfer mechanism;rn(3) By comparing simulation results with experiment results, this new simulation method can achieve the accuracy by 5rnpercent relatively, and the design time can be reduced to 50 percent or less. Further considerations for improving thernsimulation approach of vehicle JB are clarified.
