The Himeji LNG Terminal of Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., has supplied some 440 t/h of LNG as fuel for boilers at an adjacent power station (total output 2,550 MW). It now supplies high-pressure natural gas at 240 t/h (equivalent output of 1,500 MW) as fuel to another power station (conventional/combined cycle), which involved construction of high-pressure vaporizers in addition to the existing vaporizers (low-pressure).
