Raman Spectroscopy of Molecular Imprinted Polymers

Raman spectroscopy has been used to identify and quantify the presence of template molecules in molecularly imprinted polymers and also to monitor the removal of template from the polymers - providing the potential for high specificity molecular sensors. Results from molecularly imprinted polymers prepared using 2,2'-bipyridyl as templates are presented.
