A NEW TYPE OF EXCITING REGULATOR FOR HYDRO-TURBINE GENERATOR

摘要

At present, following with the development of power electronics, the silicon rectifier elements with big power have been produced. This paper introduces the principles and functions of the T WL type exciting regulator used in hydro-turbine generators. It is mainly used in the voltage adjustment of a SFW series brushless hydraulic turbine generators with 500kW capacity. This new type regulator has many good features and it could be used widely in the small hydropower stations.
