DISCRETE-TIME NON LINEAR CONTROLLER FOR AN INDUCTION MACHINE

A novel non linear control approach for a robust induction motor drive system with a voltage source inverter has been developped. The proposed approach is based on the choice of a particular model of the system which is non linear. We have chosen a model expressed in (d,q) axis which turn with the rotor flux. In this study, we consider mat the speed is a state variable as the currents and we chose the rotor flux and the speed as outputs. Furthermore, the current loops are suppressed by means of an input/output deoupling approach. There is no more difficulty for ensuring the robustness and the stability of the system if we propose a suitable PID controller which, in the case of the induction motor, gives efficient and satisfactory results.
