摘要

Interior permanent magnet (IPM) synchronous motors have several desirable features for high-performance adjustable-speed operation. The operation performance of IPM motors is deeply affected by the current control methods. In this paper, four types of current control method are introduced, and the characteristics of each method are studied in details. The suitable control method of IPM motor should be chosen according to the motor operation performance. The computer simulation is carried out for each control method.
