In this paper, it is introduced to work principle and control strategy of Vehicle Differential Lock Automatic Control System (VDLS).A dynamic model of the Off-road Vehicle is established in MATLAB/SIMULINK software environment, which included engine, transmission, tire models and the motion equation of the vehicle. To verify the validity and veracity of the model, three experiments of the off-road vehicle has been carried out. The dynamic model established in this paper would play an important role in realm of evaluating and estimating the dynamic performance or ride ability of VDLS.
