1.1 The cause of formation of the damaged sloping surfaces The damaged sloping surfaces are usually seen in mountainous areas which are caused mainly by human efforts, such as large scaled blasting for fetching the limestone and constructing the highways, causing the precipitous sides of mountain massifs even the adverse slopes, and the piled up fragmental stones in the vicinity of the quarries or along the highways; Further more reasons are those like the vegetation cover of the original mountain slopes are withered away, and the nature factors like being weather - exposed and eaten away.
