Application of 3S for the Ecological Restoration in Mentougou District

摘要

The ecological quality in Mentougou District would be investigated using 3S (remote sensing, geographical information system, global position system). We focused on the coal, bunker, calcareousness, other scrap diggings, mountain destruction, and ecosystem degeneration. The spatial database of the vegetation restoration factors was established. At the same time, the GIS management information system for ecological resources was also developed. Based on the GIS software, the spatial decision could be made for ecological restoration programming.
