Shaking table test of a shallow foundation

摘要

A shallow foundation of 0.4m by 0.4m cross section and 1.0m length ws built in the "shear s tack" available at the shaking table ECOEST facilitis in Bristol (UK). The shear stack was filled with a dry coarese leighton Buzzard sand by pluviation, giving uniform relative density.
