摘要

To satisfy the monitoring technology needs for the effect on forest growth and restoration of alpine region by forest fires, Yajiang County in Sichuan province of People Republic of China has been selected as the experimental area. By means of analyzing results on factors, such as vegetation spectral characteristics, Normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI) of burned forest area and normal vegetation region using time-series images of NO.1 high-resolution satellite (GF-1),the method for monitoring burned forest vegetation recovery has been studied. The conclusion showed that the trends of the burned forest recovery were correlated with the damage degree by forest fire. The more serious forest burned, the slower the restoration.
