摘要

The rapid and systematic dissemination of free images provided by the new Sentinelrnsystem opens up important perspectives for operational monitoring of territories,rnfrom local and regional to global scales, with a high update frequency. The aim of thisrnstudy is to present the potential and expected contributions of Sentinel-2 data, forrndetecting and monitoring wetlands and inland water bodies and related applications.
