摘要

A novel NDE method has been investigated for noncontact characterization of materials and components. The results suggest that the method provides a practical and simple approach for a wide range of standoff sensing applications. The measured signals are unique characteristic resonances of the object under evaluation. A 94-GHz Doppler sensor was used to monitor the resonance signatures in real time.
