The conformation of quaternised chitosanrnpolymers were investigated through the synthesisrnand physical characterisation of these polymers.rnThe flexibility of the polymer chain decreasedrnwith an increase in the degree of quaternisationrnas well as with an increase in the size of therngroup added to the polymer chain.
