New Acrylic Impact Modifiers and Processing Aids designed for R-PVC construction products are frequently required to or can influence other properties. Often a balance of properties is achieved to address market or final product needs. Ease of use in replacement of older products, versatility and processability over a wide range of conditions and final articles are requisites. This study discusses a new family of next generation Processing Aid and Impact Modifier types that have been designed to meet new customer needs for impact improvement, efficiency/cost, aesthetics and consistency.
