1. TINUVIN XT 833 is more effective than the UV absorbers CHIMASSORB 81rnand TINUVIN 329 in maintaining the elongation of flexible PVCrn2. TINUVIN XT 833 substantially extends the life expectancy of flexible PVCrnroofing membranes compared to conventional UV absorbersrn3. Compared to the CONTROL, TINUVIN XT 833 more than doubles the servicernlife of a PVC roofing membranern4. TINUVIN XT 833 may be suitable for use in many other outdoor flexible vinylrnapplicationsrn5. A test method for determining the efficacy of TINUVIN XT 833 in rigid PVC was proposed.
