The air blowing cable system makes it possible to construct networks efficiently and economically when the service demand is unpredictably use this system for intra-building applications. However, certain problems must be overcome before the system can be used aerially. We describe these problems which include those related to installation distance and environmental conditions. In particular, the characteristics at high temperature were unsatisfactory because of a reduction in the flux. However, we were able to improve these characteristics by changing the flexibility of the optical fiber unit.
