S.rnEnvironmental Protection Agency in October 1995 to generate independent and credible data onrnthe performance of innovative technologies that have the potential to improve protection ofrnpublic health and the environment. The purpose of this program is to help organizations,rnindustries, businesses, states, communities, and individuals make better informed decisions whenrnselecting new environmental technologies. Participation is voluntary. No approvals are granted.rnNo standards are certified. No guarantees or recommendations are made. Quality data,rnresponsive to customer need, is the product. The ETV Program’s success depends on obtainingrnand communicating information about the performance of technologies to those who decide onrnthe selection and implementation of environmental solutions.
