Corrosion and Protection for Chemical Industry in China

摘要

The seriousness of corrosion in chemical industry is reflected in the heaviest corrosion loss, the greatest possibility of hampering the development of new processes, the greatest possibility of causing accidents, the most severest environment pollution and the most nonferrous metals expenses. The present paper describes the condition of corrosion and protection in chemical industry by taking the equipment corrosion of the systems of chloro-soda, synthesis of ammonium, nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, agriculture chemicals, dyestuff and inorganic salt as examples.
