Effect of growth conditions on morphologies of ZnO nanostructures

One-dimension ZnO nanostructures were fabricated by low-temperature vapor phase transport method at various partial pressure of oxygen, various growth time, various temperature as well as substrate with or without catalyst. The results revealed that the size of ZnO nanostructures could be all changed by changing any above-mentioned growth condition. In addition, the comb-like structure could be synthesized on Si substrate with Ni besides ZnO nanowires, and better ZnO nanowires arrays could be obtained at high temperature compared with that at low temperature. So the ZnO nanostructures could be realized controllable growth by controlling growth condition.
