Radar absorbing materials (RAM) are coatings whose electrical and magnetic properties have altered to absorb microwave energy at discrete or broadband frequency. Employing Fe(CO)5 as new absorber, the effect on dispersion of nano-powder with compound dispersion craft, ultrasonic-wave treatment time and coupling agent was investigated and absorbing properties of coatings were measured. The results indicate that the reflectivity which the nanometer powder have been produced is better than some absorbing materials that have been used.
