Alumina nanopowders with inner pores had been synthesized using aluminum chloride, ammonium bicarbonate and PEG(polyethylene glycol)as raw materials. The characteristic of powders was performed by XRD, TEM and so on. Effect of anions on the morphology of particles was also studied. The results showed that alumina nanopowders with inner pores could be obtained using aluminum chloride as aluminum source but completely different fibrous morphology for using ammonium aluminum sulfate as aluminum source. Liquid nitrogen absorption/desorption test showed that pore size range was 30-55 nm and pore volume was 0.3802 cm3/g。
