TiO2 supported photocatalyst was prepared by liquid-phase deposition method. The performance of TiO2 photocatalyst was characterized by XRD, and the anatase TiO2 existed and the particle size of TiO2 photocatalyst was 21.8nm.The photocatalytic activity of TiO2 photocatalyst was evaluated by degradation of methylene blue.Experimental results showed that under acid solution condition, initial concentration 20mg/L, the degradation efficiency of methylene blue reached to 65.5%, higher photocatalytic activity was obtained. The degradation experiment of SO2 flue gas at high concentration level was carried out using TiO2 photocatalyst on the self-made photoreactor. Initial concentration between 1000mg/m 3 ~4500mg/m 3 ,the removal efficiency for SO2 was obstained about 80%~96%. The leaching liquid of reaction product was analyzed by chemical analysis methods, the result indicated that sulfate (SO4 2- ) and sulfite (SO3 2- ) had a higher proportion in the liquid. According to above experimental results, the mechanism of SO2 photocatalytic oxidation was deduced initially.
