Exploiting three-dimensional geometry CAD systems to gain improvements in pump design and manufacturing techniques

In 1997 Sterling fluid Systems Limited invested in new state of the art 3D Solid Geometry CAD systems. The main justification for the purchase was based on the premise that development itmes could be dramatically reduced, and thus new products could ber released into the market in shorter lead times. The system installed has proved to be a powerful tool which has not only reuced the development itmes but more importantly has also opened the door on to new design and manufacturing methods never before possible.
