Integration of a Safety, Health, and Environment Management System in the Chemical Process Industry

A methodological suggestion was proposed on how to integrate safety, health, environment and quality. Structure and elements of ISO9000s and ISO14000s were analyzed and compared with one another to obtain an effective integration model. Similarity of structure and elements enables us to integrate the whole into one system. In case studies, the integrated management system was included in general management system of a model company for the verification. As a result, number of procedural steps such as documents and auditing has been reduced to nearly a half.
