摘要

This study present an analysis of the evaporation process of multicomponent fuel droplets using a commercial CFD code. The main objective is to implement in this code a model that accounts for the real volatility behaviour of multicomponent blends JP-4 and JET-Al so as to simulate the evaporation process. The model includes changes in the volatility of the fuel as evaporation proceeds. This approach was developed to improve the prediction of droplet evaporation, particularly under conditions of low temperature and pressure. This study is a contribution to a better understanding of the influence of transient effects due to flowfield velocity and temperature variations on the deviation from the linear droplet evaporation law.
