Simulation method is widely used in the R&D of large equipment. Though many simulation models are available, however, being scenario-related and bound with task-dependent hypotheses, most of the models can only be used in a new simulation task after toilful and time-consuming modification. To tackle this problem and to meet the requirements of developing new simulations rapidly, the paper gives a restructuring method for reusable simulation models, which is based on Runtime Data Center (RDC) and can effectively promote reuse of existing M&S resources. The paper also discusses some implementation techniques that are crucial for the application for the method. Finally, we outline a simulation system in which the proposed method is used.
