摘要

The objective of this paper is to evaluate the maximum hosting capacity (MHC) for distributed generation (DG) systems in a pre-stablished distribution network, that comply with the technical restrictions, e.g., bus voltage limits, power transformers limits, power flow network limits, and the power system losses. As an optimization problem, the MHC is obtained using the genetic algorithm (GA) technique, and its effectiveness is proven in a modified IEEE 33-bus radial distribution system, with on load tap changers (OLTC), static var compensators (SVC), and seven DG units spread over different locations. Furthermore, the MHC is analyzed at three scenarios, in order to examine the restrictions relevance, how each one contributes to limit the hosting capacity and provide important insights to distribution network planners.
