INTERFACIAL PHENOMENA IN REFINING AND CASTING OF STEEL MELT

摘要

Influences of interfacial phenomena on the refining and casting have been investigated mostly by means of in situ dynamic observation. Interface is found to play an important role encompassing broad range of inclusion removal, liquid/solid transformation and solid state phase transformations. More efforts are required to better understand yet unexplored interesting area of metallurgy with emphasis placed on the interfacial phenomena.
