Abstract: An experiment was performed to analyze the effects of random phase screen correlation upon reciprocal path scattering (RPS) for a mirror target. It is well known that when a propagation wave is passed through a random phase screen, then back reflected through the same phase screen, signal enhancement and increased signal fluctuations occur. As the phase screen encountered by the back reflected beam evolves from that which the transmitted beam encountered, the RPS phenomena degrades. The results due to Taylor phase screen slewing are presented. !6
