Measuring the business value of organizational decision support systems (ODSS) is challenging becausernalthough the DSS effectiveness has generally been measured at the individual level, the literature measuringrnthe impact of IT has recently been recommending deeper analysis into the firm or process level. This researchrnin progress will examine the impact of ODSS at process level among seven hospitals and compare the findingsrnwith the impact of information technology investment at the firm level.
