Eddy Current Testing: Training and Testing of Technicians

ECT inspection in petrochemical plants involves working with a range of defects and materials. Application of the standard ASNT SNT-TC-1A training program is not a sufficient plan for reliable detection and accurate sizing in heat exchanger tubes. More intensive training on previously acquired data is recommended.
