摘要

A new approach for combining Wiener filtering (deconvolution) and autoregressive spectral extrapolation has been used for improving the time-resolution and signal-to-noise ratio of TOFD signals. The results presented in this article demonstrate the potential of this new approach for enhancing the quality of TOFD signals. Considering the rapid development of modern computer hardware and software, there is no doubt that signal processing techniques will play a major role in the future of ultrasonic testing. This article serves as an example of the capabilities of signal processing techniques for this purpose.
