GUIDE STRUCTURE ANALYSIS OF THROUGHFLOW-TYPE-TURBINE'S RUNNER

About guide structure of throughflow type turbine's runner, this paper evaluates the characters of guide key. A new structure, guide pin, which is based on the principle that whole-circle seal is more excellent than part-circle one, is presented for the guide of piston. It is an improvement and optimization of guide key. The analysis demonstrates that the guide pin structure is simple and reliable, and is of good seal, lower and uniform stress, and long life.
