摘要

It is a quite important way to simulate the flow field using the CFD technology when the centrifugal pumps are studied. But up to now, most of them only focus on the single suction centrifugal pumps. In this paper, the flow field in the primary impeller of double suction HD petrochemical process pump is simulated with the model of k-ε and SIMPLE method which invented by the Patankar & Spalding, and the main flow characteristics are summed by the given distributions of velocity and pressure. The meaningful theories are provided for the design of double suction centrifugal pumps, and fill up the gap of CFD simulation without double suction centrifugal pump.
