摘要

In this paper, using semiclassical approach, we present a numerical simulation of light generation in one-dimensionalrn(1D) photonic crystal laser based on SiO_2:Er~(3+) active medium with Fabry-Perrot (F-P) resonator. We use TransferrnMatrix Method to study laser gain characteristics. Combination of TMM with semiclassical theory give us the lasersrncharacteristics of small signal gain as a function of parameters: F-P mirrors reflectivity’s, period of the photonicrnstructure, geometry of the primitive cell as well as the number of the primitive cells creating the photonic crystal.
