Platinum Level and Catalyst Density Effects in C5/C6 Isomerization

摘要

The effect of Pt level and catalyst density on chlorided-alumina catalyst performance inlight-naphtha isomerization has been studied. The approach of this study is to examine theseeffects on paraffin isomerization independent of the effects on benzene saturation andnaphthene reactions. The effects have been also studied on a feed typical to commerciallight-naphtha isomerization unit.
