A study was conducted in Wisconsin (1) to identify key market barriers to the installation of SDHW systems and (2) to identify program elements for a statewide effort to maximize program participation. Market research in Wisconsin included interviews with solar owners, homeowners without solar and trade allies. We also interviewed SDHW program staff in other parts of the country to determine what program features are successful.
