The New hampshire Small Business Enviromental Assistance Alliance-A Partnership Approach

To help jobshops and othe small business owners across New Hampshire in complying with enviromental requirements, an inovative partnership was formed to create the state's first Small Business Environmental Assistance Alliance (SBEA2, for short). The goal of SBEA2 is to help small businesss beomce more profitable while maintaining or enhamcing enviromental quality. The alliance links existing environmental assistance programs of DES, EPA, UNH, the Business and Indstry Association of New Hampshire and others, while provding free a nd confidential one-on-one counseling to small businesses. This paper will discuss the initiation of SBEA2 and the accomplishements to date.
