The valuation of adoption of a technology with a random life

摘要

When some other enterprise owns a more advanced technology than that an enterprise owns,so then the value of the project made by the enterprise will be greatly reduced or even to zero,so to preempt the rival entrants have tremendous risks.This paper assumes that the new technology to be adopted has a random life,studies the valuation of commercialization of technological innovation with a random life in imperfect competition,derives the pricing formula,and then analyzes the investment strategy of this project under the condition of imperfect competition.
