Formation of National Collection and Millet Breeding in Ukraine

摘要

The paper covers the results of investigations on forming millet collection in the National Centre for Plant Genetic Resources of Plant Production Institute named after V.Ya.Yuryev of NAAS. The efficiency of application of methods of hybridization and experimental mutagenesis at creation of new competitive varieties of millet is proved. The characteristic of new millet varieties, their approbatory, biological and economic indices are shown.
