摘要

Solar radiation incident on one or two sides of a building results in asymmetry in available solar energy and in heating demand. In an multiple occupancy building,if separate energy systems are used for each property, this asymmetry results in energy surplus for some properties and simultaneous deficit for others.By integrating the energy systems across the building, and transferring energy between properties, significant savings in complementary non-solar energy can be made.Case studies were performed for a number of cities, representing a range of climates across China. For Tianjin, savings in non-solar energy were 32 to 47%,depending on the energy transfer technology used. For Ha'erbin, representing severe cold climate, the equivalent savings were 11 to 23%.In Shanghai, the more moderate climate allowed cross-building transfer to completely eliminate the need for imported nonsolar energy.
