Since the building air-conditioning energy consumption is huge in China and increases as the demand increases,it is very important to design some energy saving,decentralized air-conditioning system to in place of the conventional air-conditioner used in office and residential building.Thus,the pattern of an innovative dual-temperature air conditioner was proposed.It consists of two evaporators working at two different evaporating temperatures,including a radiant panel and an air-handling unit.A machine was designed to be in service a 40 m2 office room.The creative idea is using an ejector to in place of the throttling valve in the conventional refrigeration cycle.And the theoretical refrigeration cycle was analysed in terms of mass and energy conservation principles.It is found that the coefficient of performance of the dual-temperature refrigeration cycle is 51.84% higher that theoretical conventional refrigeration cycle,to reach 9.915.In addition,the ejector was designed as well.
