Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) methods are mainly used to satisfy design and operation authority body requirements in safety improvement. PRA approaches are based on two general groups of study - probabilistic and deterministic analysis. Probabilistic analysis may be considered as analytical and simulation groups of approaches. The first one comprises Boolean Algebra models (Fault Tree, Event Tree) and stochastic process models (Semimarcov and Marcov processes).
